Between 31.03.2020 and 31.05.2021, AS Pedrobeat is implementing a development project no.EU53945. The purpose is to carry out thorough tests, measurements, and experiments in cooperation with an accredited body to verify the compliance of Motion 2.0 LED-street lighting with the IEC/EN safety requirements and standards.
As a result, Pedrobeat will acquire the necessary certificates for Motion 2.0 LED-street lighting (ENEC, RoHS and CB EMC). This will allow the company to market its luminaires more widely in existing and new target and export markets.

The European Regional Development Fund is co-financing the project through EAS development share measure with 17,132.50 euros.

Between 01.12.2021 – 31.10.2023, AS Pedrobeat is implementing a development project no.2014-2020.4.04.21-2130. The aim is to grow Pedrobeat into an internationally renowned, trusted, and high-quality lighting brand that not only replaces older generations and inefficient luminaries but adds value and aesthetics by being the first choice for customers in a market that has already switched to LED. Having 8-year LED industry experience the implementation of the development plan will ensure the next successful step in the company’s expansion. The value created by the project, including intellectual property, will not be sold but its purpose is to grow its share on target international markets.

The European Regional Development Fund is co-financing the project through EAS development share measure with 470 788,65 euros.

Between May 13, 2024, and August 13, 2024, our company will undergo a Green Audit, co-funded by the European Union through the NextGenerationEU Restoration Fund, with a contribution of €5,000. The purpose of this audit is to assess our current environmental performance and to identify and implement effective strategies that will ensure the continuity of our production in alignment with sustainable development goal.

Between 31 January 2025 and 31 May 2026, AS Pedrobeat is implementing the development project No. 20.2.01.24-0179 “Implementation of the Roadmap Development Activities at Pedrobeat AS.”

The project aims to strengthen the company’s sustainability capacity and reduce the environmental impacts of its products. In the course of the project Pedrobeat will prepare Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) reports and Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) for its core product groups, providing customers with transparent and standard-compliant information about the carbon footprint and other environmental impacts of the company’s luminaires. The activities also include adopting circular design practices and supporting the development of sustainable skills among employees to help embed environmentally friendly practices in the company’s operations.

Drawing on more than eight years of LED industry experience, Pedrobeat sees this project as the next important step in its evolution—ensuring that the knowledge and value created will stay within the company and be used to strengthen its competitive position both in Estonia and on international markets.

Funding: The project is financed by the European Union’s Recovery and Resilience Facility under the NextGenerationEU instrument through the Estonian Business and Innovation Agency (EIS), with a grant of €76 097.92.

The Estonian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ECCI) is the oldest and largest Estonian representative organization of entrepreneurs and was founded to represent and protect common interests of Estonian merchants, manufacturers, bankers, and ship-owners in the year 1925.
